Lecture Series (diversity perspectives in scholarship)

Starting in 2022, the Cluster of Excellence “Understand Written Artefacts” has begun to bring questions of diversity at the forefront of its scholarship through lecture series exploring perspectives that have historically been neglected in research on written artefacts and some of the exclusions that continue to mark and limit this field. The lecture series aim to shed light on the spoken and unspoken norms that have shaped written artefact scholarship and to help us envision more inclusive ways of doing research on written artefacts.
