The University of Hamburg invites applications and proposals for the Agathe Lasch Visiting Scientist Program for Women in Academia.
Named after the first female professor of the University of Hamburg, the cross-faculty Agathe Lasch Visiting Scientist Program for Women in Academia was designed to help female academics in underrepresented fields become a strong and more visible presence. The Agathe Lasch Visiting Scientist Program provides for the establishment of two visiting professorships.
The programme is aimed at female professors or researchers with a Habilitation or equivalent (e.g., junior professors, associate professors) from all subject areas from Germany or abroad who would like to spend three to six months at the University of Hamburg in the winter semester 2025/26.
Proposals for suitable applicants can be submitted from all faculties of the University of Hamburg (excluding UKE). In addition, interested parties can apply with the support of the respective subject area of Universität Hamburg.
Applications must be submitted to gleichstellung"AT"uni-hamburg.de by 7 April 2025.
Further information on the Call for Application can be found on the Equal Opportunity Unit’s website.
