Changing the volume of audio files

1. Download and run the installation file.
2. Leave the settings on Custom. In the settings, English is selected by default. You can choose your preferred language from the language menu instead.
3. Specify the installation path, run the installer and click “Exit” on completion.
4. In the program, click “Add File(s)” to load the files whose volume you wish to change.
   
5. In the next step, adjust the volume. The preset volume is 89.0 dB. We recommend that you keep that value or increase it up to 94 dB (this is an average).
   
6. Now, click Track Gain to create the new file. The program now adjusts the volume of your file and saves the new version.This process overwrites the original file.

Instructions for Mac

1. Download the .zip file and run it.
2. The program icon MP3Gain Express will appear in the folder where the .zip file is saved. Double-click the icon to start the program.
3. The system may ask you whether you really wish to open MP3Gain Express. Confirm by clicking “Open.”
4. In the program, click “Add File(s)” to load the files whose volume you wish to change.
   
5. In the next step, adjust the volume. The preset volume is 89.0 dB. We recommend that you keep that value or increase it up to 94 dB (this is an average).
   
6. Now, click Gain to create the new file. The program now adjusts the volume of your file and saves the new version.
