Stellenbosch University

Stellenbosch University is a state university in South Africa. The main campus is located in Stellenbosch, around 50 kilometers from Cape Town.

There are approximately 30,000 students at the university. There have been intensive relations and exchanges with Universität Hamburg since 1996. A central cooperation agreement was signed in 2005 and subsequently renewed in 2013.

The two universities cooperate across all faculties, whereby the cooperation is also maintained through the highly successful student and research exchanges.
