Macquarie University
Macquarie University (MQ) is a state university in the Australian city of Sydney that brings together around 40,000 students and 3,000 academic staff.
Universität Hamburg has cooperated with the university since the 1990s. In 2012, Macquarie University became a strategic partner and cooperates with all faculties at Universität Hamburg. There have also been successful student and research exchanges between the universities since 2012.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has funded the MQ-FU-HAM trilateral network with Macquarie University in Sydney and Fudan University in Shanghai since 2013. To date, the network has completed a total of twelve sub-projects together.
