The newly founded Knowledge Exchange Agency of Universität Hamburg—University of Excellence supports the University’s knowledge exchange activities with a view toward innovation processes, cooperation opportunities, and services related to knowledge exchange. They establish close, systematic cooperation with regional partner institutions.

The University Extends Invitation for Events in the Former Karstadt Department Store

On the third floor of the former Karstadt Sport building, located directly across from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, there will be a temporary open campus between October and December 2023. An initiative of Universität Hamburg’s Knowledge Exchange Agency, the campus enables students and teachers to assess locally relevant sustainability issues together. The public is invited to talk, play along, experiment, and create!

Professor of Science Studies and Innovation Research Appointed

The sociologist Prof. Dr. Sabine Maasen is switching to Universität Hamburg for a professorship newly created within the context of the Excellence Strategy of the Federal and State Governments. She will serve as the academic director of the Knowledge Exchange Agency that is currently being set up.
