Studying abroad

Universität Hamburg encourages all students to go abroad during their studies in order to gain international experience and offers its full support.

The University provides semesters abroad with the:

• ERASMUS program and
• Central Student Exchange Program / institute exchanges.

Moreover, you may sign up for internships or subject courses abroad.

Cross-cultural exchange, however, is also possible in Hamburg: our diversity program PIASTA—Intercultural Living and Learning aims to facilitate academic success by assisting students while fostering intercultural exchange and interaction.
