PIASTA—Intercultural Living and Learning is a program run by the Department of International Affairs. PIASTA provides a space for cultural exchange with a range of events, Welcome Week, and networking opportunities. - University Language Center
The University Language Center offers interdisciplinary language courses from Level B1 for students and staff at the University of Hamburg. The University Language Center is preparing new language courses in German and English for international students on starting their studies, as well as communication in companies or education institutions. - Career & Qualification Center
The Career & Qualification Center supports students and graduates from the University of Hamburg in planning their careers. It offers advice and a range of workshops and networking opportunities. MIN För Hamburg creates events especially for international students in the relevant subject groups and opportunities to meet and discuss with employers from the Hamburg region.

The Hamburg Welcome Center provides new arrivals with advice on childcare, schooling, health, housing, leisure activities, and much more.
