Declaration of Waiver of University Place

If you would like to waive your claim after accepting an offer to study at Universität Hamburg, please sign and send the declaration of waiver attached at the bottom as soon as possible. You may waive your place until September 30 (enrollment for winter semester) respectively March 31 (enrollment for summer semester). After the start of the semester, it is only possible to waive your place if the semester contribution has not yet been paid.

If you have already transferred your semester contribution at the time you submit your waiver application, you may be eligible for a refund (minus €50 for processing costs). For a refund, the declaration of waiver needs to be received before 1 October or 1 April.
