Take advantage of our offers to ascertain your current professional situation, what you need to change, and your professional wishes and goals. The aim is to determine your professional (skills) profile and to define appropriate development and training needs based on this.

Particularly if you are a member of administrative, technical, or library staff, or a research associate not in your doctoral or postdoctoral phase, we can help you develop in your current position or make fundamental changes and apply for a new position within the University. Use our offers to check whether your current job still matches your professional ideas and goals, and what might need to be changed.

If you are a researcher in a qualification phase (e.g., doctoral, postdoctoral, or Habilitation phase; junior professorship; junior research group leadership), we will support you with offers tailored to your specific career and can also help you decide whether or not you wish to remain in academia, for example.

Leadership Coaching

Food for Thought

During our “Food for Thought” events, we consider aspects of professional orientation and decision-making in greater depth. These short sessions lasting up to 90 minutes offer an opportunity to gain information on specific topics from experts as well as to ask questions.

Employee–superior meetings and performance appraisals

Discussing your expectations and development opportunities with your superior can be extremely beneficial to your professional development. The employee–superior meetings and performance appraisals provide a structured framework for this. Actively request feedback from your superior during your daily work and complement your assessment of your skills and areas requiring further development with this external perspective.
