Psychiatric disorders are often accompanied by problems in concentration, mental flexibility, and planning. These mental abilities are crucial to reach goals in life, and therefore problems therein hinder daily life functioning and living to your potential. In this project, Dr. Matthias Pillny and Prof. Marie-José van Tol will jointly work on exploring new and personalized ways for treating persistent cognitive problems occurring in both depression and psychosis. They will combine their clinical and neuroscience expertise towards developing novel interventions that boost recovery from multiple psychiatric disorders.
