What motivated you to take up a tenure-track professorship at the University of Hamburg?
The tenure-track professorship enables me to continue and strategically implement the potential of my research and teaching with the support of the University. Tenure-track professorships are a university measure that aims to drive support for doctoral and early career researchers. This position enables me to shape my academic profile at a strong research-oriented institution and to think in terms of permanency. I can establish my own research areas early on and anchor them institutionally.
What is special about the work at the University of Hamburg?
In my work at the University of Hamburg, I find it particularly stimulating that I have the ongoing opportunity to get involved in interdisciplinary projects and to collaborate with colleagues from other subjects in research and teaching.
