Interview with Katherina Holube

Universität Hamburg—University of Excellence established it`s Fast-Track Program to give outstanding students an opportunity to do their doctorate right after completing their bachelor’s degree. The master’s degree program is integrated into the doctoral phase. Katharina Holube is taking part in the program and shares her experiences below.

What motivated you to pursue a doctorate via the Fast-Track Program at Universität Hamburg?

Since my bachelor’s thesis in meteorology, I have found the dynamics of the tropical atmosphere very interesting. In the Fast-Track Program, I can immediately start on a doctorate on a related topic. That is a terrific opportunity.
