Fund for Innovative Teaching

Through the Fund for Innovative Teaching, University of Hamburg—University of Excellence promotes innovative projects and measures that bring about a qualitative improvement in teaching.

The 2025/26 call for applications Innovative Räume für innovative Lehre is aimed at teaching staff who—together with their students—are looking for new ways to design creative places of teaching, learning, and exchange for the implementation of modern teaching formats and concepts in innovative, participative, and flexible settings.

Teaching staff from all faculties and departments, together with students, are called upon to design exemplary physical, virtual, or hybrid room concepts that further improve the on-site conditions for teaching, learning, and studying.

The funding amounts to €35,000 per project.
