Advanced Fellowships

Every year, Universität Hamburg—University of Excellence finances fellowships for excellent visiting scholars and artists at the Hamburg Institute for Advanced Study. These guests can live and work in Hamburg for several months, exchanging with Hamburg researchers and building their networks while pursuing their own research.

First Advanced Fellowships in Hamburg

The sociologist Sophia Prinz and the philosopher Dietmar von der Pfordten are among the first recipients of the newly created Advanced Fellowships and will spend several months living and working in Hamburg.
