Prof. Dr. Eray Çaylı came to the University of Hamburg from the London School of Economics and Political Science in February 2023 to take up a professorship for "Human Geography, with a Focus on Violence and Security in the Anthropocene".

Prof. Dr. Nicolas Schuck, previously from the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, to start in the winter semester as professor for learning and change mechanisms with the Faculty of Psychology and Human Movement.

Prof. Dr. Anne Lauscher is joining the Faculty of Business Administration (Hamburg Business School) in winter semester as Professor of Data Science in Business Administration/Informatics. Previously, she was at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
