In mathematics, an operator is a kind of transformation that transforms functions. The study of operators is called operator theory and has a vast application both in matematics and its applications.
The aim of this project is to bring together mathematicians who are working with either operator theory directly or who are using operator theory in their research.
We intend for instance to use operator theory to study control and stability of partial differential equations with applications in engineering of control mechanisms; statistical properties of dynamical systems with applications to the theory of extreme events; and complex and harmonic analysis.
