University of Novi Sad — Hamburg
Since 2023 the University of Novi has been a partner university of University of Hamburg in the DAAD Eastern Partnerships Program. Within the framework of this DAAD funding line, researchers and doctoral researchers of the partner universities and of University of Hamburg can apply for funding at UHH to expand existing contacts and establish new cooperations between the universities. The program aims to strengthen exisiting ties and to establish new collaboration between partners.

University of Novi Sad researchers interested in applying for and participating in a research exchange should first contact Ivana Vujkov ( iro"AT"uns.ac.rs)from the International Relations Office at the University of Novi Sad. After a successful nomination by the International Office of the home institution you can apply through our online application portal immediately or, at the latest, 4 to 6 weeks before you plan to arrive in Hamburg.
Participants in University partnerships with Eastern Europe program (DAAD-Ostpartnerschaften) receive the following benefits:
- Travel subsidy for University of Hamburg researchers
- A subsidy for accomodation costs for guests at University of Hamburg
Detailed information regarding the settlement of finances will be made available on the online application platform during the application process.
Research exchange participants are required to hand in a report following their exchange.
