The Family Office at Universität Hamburg and Studierendenwerk Hamburg invite you on Friday, 11 November 2016 from 10 am to 1 pm to a morning devoted to studying as a parent and balancing your studies with your childcare or nursing care obligations.
Students who are parents or parents-to-be as well as students charged with caring for other relatives can gain an overview of how to organize their studies in a family-friendly manner and how to handle the financial burdens. There will be lectures, information booths and a chance to exhange thoughts in the Dialog Café.

- 10:15 am Words of welcome from Jürgen Allemeyer (managing director of Studierendenwerk Hamburg) and Prof. Dr. Susanne Rupp (vice-president, Universität Hamburg)
- 10:30–11:00 am Financial Options for Students with Childcare and Nursing Care Obligations Lecture in German by the Beratungszentrums Soziales & Internationales – BeSI, Studierendenwerk Hamburg
- 11:15-11:45 Uhr Organizing Studies at Universität Hamburg for Students with Families Lecture in German by the CampusCenter, Universität Hamburg
- 12:00-12:30 Uhr Young People with Nursing Care Responsibilities Lecture in German by Dr. Hanneli Döhner from the wir pflegen e. V. association
