University of Hamburg Locations around the City
The University of Hamburg has been located in the heart of the Hanseatic city for more than 100 years, representing Hamburg as a city of knowledge and research across the world. In addition to the central campus in the city district of Eimsbüttel, there are 3 other big campuses as well as a number of University buildings across the city.

The University sees all its campuses as places of research and innovation. Its highly modern equipment and research infrastructure makes it possible to conduct excellent academic work while also serving as a base for collaboration and knowledge exchange projects.

The University is an open place with numerous opportunities for shared learning and information exchange, including for interested Hamburg residents. The many services and events are open to anyone who wants to get to know life at the University and take part in current conversations and debates.

All university locations are close to an S-Bahn or U-Bahn station and a range of bus lines. There are also a lot of StadtRad (public bike-sharing network) stations around the University and the city in general, and the University prides itself as being a bike-friendly employer with all the necessary infrastructure.
