Knowledge Exchange@UHH: mission
Knowledge exchange at the comprehensive University of Hamburg should be a living part of its academic culture in research, teaching and innovation activities. It thrives on the diversity of subject cultures, establishes transdisciplinary networks and is practiced and institutionally promoted in all faculties to varying degrees.
In addition, the University of Hamburg's Knowledge Exchange Agency supports knowledge exchange activities as a central institution by raising awareness, making them visible and providing services. To this end, it develops infrastructures for collaborative knowledge exchange processes, promotes inter- and transfaculty exchange and is conceptually and strategically committed to the university-wide establishment of knowledge exchange in its three dimensions: Expertise - Engagement - Entrepreneurship (“Triple E”) (see also Triple E model).
