According to the motto "Anyone can start a business!" operates the joint project Startup Port. Founders are coached in a variety of ways or have the opportunity to network with each other. The Startup Port bundles the support offers from nine universities and research institutions from the Hamburg metropolitan region. Here are 2 exciting events in the next few weeks:
STEP - application period ends on March 15th, 2023!
"Founding a startup is a big step." ... "Do I have the skills to do it?" ... "Is it really the right thing for me?" Our tip: Try it out!
STEP - What is it?
The Student Training for Entrepreneurial Promotion (STEP) is an action-oriented entrepreneurship training with a focus on sustainability. Within 12 sessions, interested students learn about the entrepreneurial process through an actual start-up project in teams. This will help you gain confidence in your entrepreneurial skills and build startup competencies.
In addition, you'll gain the evidence-based knowledge you need about starting up. And in the end you will know much better if founding is something for you!
When and how does STEP take place?
STEP will take place in the summer semester of 2023 and is aimed at students, doctoral candidates, and employees of the universities in the Startup Port. The mandatory kick-off for the training is 05.04.2023 (17:30-19:30). Registrations are possible until 15.03.2023.
The training takes place in English.
