The threat of cyberattacks remains heightened at the University of Hamburg. All University members acting prudently is essential to successfully fending off these attacks and increasing cybersecurity. We have thus started a comprehensive cybersecurity initiative in February 2025.

Our phishing simulation is a key component, in the course of which University members will receive realistic emails via their University email account again and again. This drill is aimed at teaching you to spot phishing attacks and respond effectively.

The parallel e-learning program focuses on a range of cybersecurity topics besides phishing. We have chosen a compact, practice-oriented, and interactive module format.

Our campaign, conducted in cooperation with the security provider SoSafe GmbH, addresses both employees and students. Aiming to alert all University members to cybercrime and threats such as phishing, we offer learning materials combined with practical training.
