Next generation network on topological spin and superconducting physics
Combining magnetism and superconductivity is a promising way towards novel quantum technologies, which includes ultrasensitive sensors, low-power information processing technology, and quantum communication. The major task of this international network is to effectively combine the expertise in three respective sectors: magnetism (spins), superconductivity, and topology. Together, we desire to theoretically describe dissipationless spin transport in nanostructures, exotic quantum particles, as well as novel quantum materials and help paving the way towards real-world applications.
This Next Generation network on topological spin and superconducting physics seeks to forge a multilateral long-term scientific collaboration on topological spin and superconducting systems, enhance the international opportunities of students from our universities, and increase the institutions' international visibility and impact.
