International Law Plus (IL+)
The bilateral summer program International Law Plus (IL+) between Universität Hamburg and Macquarie University began successfully in 2018 and is based on an established partnership between the 2 universities. The summer school IL+ brings 10 Australian and 10 German law students together to deal with specific issues of international law. In 2020, the summer school will go into its third round, as a trilateral collaboration with Fudan University.
The summer program has been divided into 3 modules, with students from Universität Hamburg visiting Macquarie University for 2 weeks during the first module. In the second module, the students will work on a research topic they choose themselves and communicate using Macquarie University’s online platform ILearn. The third and final module comprises Macquarie students completing a 2-week stay at Universität Hamburg.
