Congratulations Prof. Dr. Sílvia Melo Pfeifer!
During the Corona pandemic, many universities expanded their digital teaching and learning offerings. In order to anchor this digitalization push in international university cooperation, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has selected around 50 projects for the "International Virtual Academic Collaboration (IVAC)" program, which is being funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with around 5.5 million euros until the end of 2021.
We are very happy to announce that Prof. Dr. Sílvia Melo Pfeifer (Universität Hamburg) is part of one of the two successful projects from the Faculty of Education. Prof. Dr. Sílvia Melo Pfeifer, in cooperation with Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia), together with prospective teachers in Germany and Australia, will conceptualize, test and evaluate materials and teaching sequences on multilingualism.
Prof. Dr. Sílvia Melo Pfeifer is active within the Trilateral Strategic Network with the projects “Visual Narratives in Initial Teacher Training” and “In others’ shoes”.
