Final module of the pilot of International Law Plus (IL+) Summer Program started in Hamburg
9 July 2018, by Abteilung Internationales
After four months of joint research via online communication services, the third and final module of the innovative IL+ Summer Program started in Hamburg. Participating students from Macquarie University and Universität Hamburg got to meet again. During their first week, participating students visited a law firm, further specialized on International Environmental Law and attended input lectures and workshops on e.g. the following topics:
- How does law deal with uncertain knowledge?
- Writing Revision Strategies
A bicycle tour through the Wendland, a region in Lower Saxony, combined experiencing the beautiful northern Germany landscape and learning about the anti-nuclear Movement in Germany. Further extracurricular activities introduced students from Macquarie University to German culture and enabled all participating students to reenergize before their panel presentations started today.
We are looking forward to a great last week with fruitful panel discussions and further exciting excursions and activities, e.g. a visit to the International Tribunal for the Law of the Seas.
