Workshop – Climate Change, Decarbonization and Urban Energy Transition

On 12 and 13 October 2017 the Universität Hamburg hosted the workshop “Climate Change, Decarbonization and the Urban Energy Transition” within the framework of the DAAD funded Trilateral Strategic Partnership MQ-FU-HAM. Lectures from all over the world focused on developing and integrating concepts and tools of sustainable urban energy landscapes and transformation, particularly renewable energy and low-carbon pathways. Furthermore, the workshop contributed to evidence-based policy for climate and energy policies on the urban scale.
