The APAIE Annual Conference and Exhibition ( 29 February – 3 March, 2016) is one of the most well-known forums in the Asia-Pacific region for bringing together policy-makers and education experts from around the world to improve professional skills and learn about new developments in international education. The nine local host universities, led by the University of Melbourne, welcomed distinguished guests to the 11th Annual APAIE Conference. The Department of International Affairs was present in the Event, together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the partner universities of the Trilateral Strategic Network Macquarie University and Fudan University, presenting their experiences on Project Management in Multilateral Strategic Partnerships.

The Trilateral Strategic Partnership MQ-FU-HAM was part of a conference session hosted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), presenting their views and experiences in "Project Management in Multilateral Strategic Partnerships".
