PhD Student - Harbor City and Communication Workshop
In September 2018, I, funded by the Trilateral Network MQ-FU-HAM, attended the Harbor City and Communication Workshop in Universität Hamburg. During my stay, I joined a poster session with other Ph.D. students from Australia, China and Germany, from where I shortly presented my ongoing research „Sharing bike and spatial production in China“. By describing my insights and discussing with various colleagues, I received several practical suggestions, which later helped me a lot to improve my research.
Furthermore, at this workshop, I met Dr. Hans-Ulrich Wagner, who led the Research Center Media History in Hamburg. We kept contact constantly during and after the workshop and finally, in September 2019, I succeed coming back Hamburg as an one-year visiting Ph.D. student and now worked on my Ph.D. project, a media history study, under the supervision of Dr. Wagner.
From my perspective, I find it really lucky to have such experience with the help of the trilateral network, it gave me a good chance to broaden my horizon at an international level and therefore set me a good start point of my academic career.
