Master Student at Universität Hamburg – Student Exchange to Fudan University

I've spent two semesters as an exchange student at Fudan University in Shanghai—one of the best universities in China. As part of the partnership program between Universität Hamburg and Fudan, I've been well taken care of and have received support in preparation for as well as during my stay.

Fudan’s main campus is located in the north of Shanghai. As a graduate student, I could choose from several master’s program taught in English and enjoyed a broad variety of courses taught by Chinese as well as international guest lecturers. I was pleased with the quality of the courses and enjoyed the discussions and projects with my fellow students from all around the world.

Shanghai is a huge city and provides every kind of activity and cuisine one could wish for. Furthermore, it's very easy to travel to neighboring cities and “water towns” and villages or catch an express train to destinations further away.

In retrospect, time passed all too fast. It has been an amazing experience and I'm sure I've grown as a person in every respect.
