When your students write in English: supporting and assessing writers of English-language research papers
Wann: Do, 24.04.2025, 10:00 Uhr bis 17:15 Uhr
Wo: Hamburger Zentrum für Universitäres Lehren und Lernen, Jungiusstraße 9, 20355 Hamburg, Raum 321, 3. Etage
If the majority of the research in your discipline is published in English, if your students
wish to reach an international audience or if they are simply more comfortable writing in
English than in German, then they may prefer to submit their research papers in English.
But how do you feel about that? In this workshop we will work on improving your skills
and awareness but mostly on raising your confidence in supporting and assessing writers
in their English-language endeavors. Whether they are submitting term papers or final
theses, you will feel more secure as you help them to achieve best results.
