The World of Applied Languages
A Conference for Language Teachers and Language Learners
What is the best way to learn a language? Why do some people have an almost perfect command of a language after finishing High School, while others still struggle? Is it the way they have been taught? The teacher? Maybe the student’s learning style? What is the difference between general and applied language and how are applied languages used in your everyday life?
With our conference “The World of Applied Languages,” we step in to answer these and many more questions.
We will introduce the concept of “applied language” in detail and will give plenty of useful tips, including:
What are applied languages?
How do I find out what my personal learning style is?
What is the most effective way to improve my language skills online?
In numerous presentations, our lecturers present their favorite exercises while students report on how they use applied languages in their lives. The event is then rounded off with an engaging panel discussion.
