“For me as the head of PIASTA, there are always a lot of things to do—I make sure that our offers are well-organized, from registration to implementation to evaluation, and I prepare our international team for their tasks. About 20 students are working on the PIASTA Team. I find it important to encourage participation by including student perspectives. This fosters innovative ideas from students for students. I aim for our tutors and our participants to feel respected and welcomed with their diverse backgrounds, for boundaries to blur, for pigeonholing to cease, and for new perspectives to emerge.”
