With over 180 degree programs at the University of Hamburg, it is no easy task to figure out which subject might best match your own interests and talents. Unitag can help you find some answers to these questions, give you an overview of our offers, and point out the next steps in the direction of university study.
The eventful program includes talks, Q&A rounds, tours, workshops, and information stands. Prospective students can find out what individual degree programs offer and which area is the best fit. In addition to faculty events on different degree programs, various internal and external institutions are offering information and advice on such things as applying, funding your studies, studying abroad, University Sports, student research, and sustainability.
The focus is personal exchange: University teachers, administrative staff, and students will be on hand to answer questions and provide individual perspectives on daily university life.
Activities will take place at 3 main University locations: the Main Building (Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1), the Von-Melle-Park Campus (buildings 4–9), and the Martin Luther King Campus (Martin-Luther-King Platz 6).
There are also 3 service points where you can get the program, maps, gifts, and help finding your way. Don’t miss out on the Unikontor lottery, in which you can win a hoodie!
The event is free and you don’t need to sign up. If you cannot attend in person, select program events are also being streamed live. To make the most of the day, we recommend good preparation. There is a short animation on the Unitag web page, with practical tips to help you plan.
See the University website for more information about the program, locations, and live streams. The University is looking forward to greeting high school students on 25 February 2025.
