Roughly 160 events and activities target secondary school students, but also other prospectives, providing an opportunity to learn more about the University’s academic programs and get a first-hand glimpse of the University. Psychology? Business administration? Teacher training? Or maybe the new program in liberal arts? Talks, consultations, guided tours, and Q & A sessions will help visitors find out what programs most interest them or suit them.
Our eight faculties and 19 further institutions and offices will also provide information at stands. For example, Unitag guests will gain important tips on applying, funding their studies, or studying abroad. They will also get a glimpse at topics such as research and sustainability and they can learn about University Sports, University Music, and AStA (student council).
The day focuses on personal exchange. The Unitag is an opportunity to talk directly to staff in administration and teaching. There will also be students on hand who can tell you about their experiences and give tips.
Events and activities will take place primarily at 3 locations: the Main Building (Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1), the Von-Melle-Park Campus (Von-Melle-Park 4 and 5), and on the Martin Luther King Campus (including Martin Luther King Platz 6). Three central Unitag service points (Main Building, Von-Melle-Park 4, Von-Melle-Park 5) can help visitors find their way and provide program brochures and other material.
The Unitag is free. No registration required. Some of the talks will also be shown via livestream.
Due to the many information sources, we recommend that you prepare accordingly. A short animated film can help you plan.
You can also visit the Unitag website for comprehensive information about the program, individual venues, and the livestreams.
