The organizers took the term “prompt-a-thon” from the “hackathon”— get-togethers in which participants develop hard and software together within a time limit.
At a prompt-a-thon, participants will work together on solutions using generative AI. This kind of AI can independently create images, articles, brochures, or program code on the basis of collected information.
Playful test
Using clever, related data, participants can try to get useful answers from the AI to develop solutions. In this way, you can playfully test current possibilities and limitations. At the end, evaluating and reflecting upon your data should also lead to successful strategies for using this kind of AI in the future.
The prompt-a-thon takes place on 28 February from 8 to 10:15 am on the Main Campus of Universität Hamburg. Participants do not need any prior knowledge. They just need to bring a laptop. The event is free but you need to register.
