What does “University of Excellence” actually mean? Why was Universität Hamburg only one of a few universities selected and how is it using the grant money? The most important facts in 2 1/2 minutes.
University of Excellence—that is not a marketing slogan! It is a distinction that the Federal and State Governments have awarded to only a few German universities. The title entails annual funding and an obligation to use the money for pledges from the application phase. In our new video, we briefly explain the most important facts.
