Between Christmas and New YearChristmas break 2023: Opening Hours for Libraries and Cafeterias

The Central Law Library is closed from 24 December 2023 until 26 December 2023, and from 31 December 2023 until 1 January 2024. From 27–30 December 2023 the library is open from 7 am to 10 pm. Regular opening hours apply from 2 January 2024.

The Sociology and Economics departmental libraries are closed from 24–26 December 2023. From 27–29 December 2023 the libraries are open from 9 am to 5 pm. Regular opening hours apply from 2 January 2024.

The International Tax Institute (IIFS) library is closed from 19 December 2023 until 4 January 2024. 

The Medical Library is closed from 24–26 December 2023, and from 30 December 2023 to 1 January 2024. On 23 December 2023 and from 27–29 December 2023 the library is open from 9 am to 5 pm.

The Martha Muchow Library is closed from 23 December 2023 to 2 January 2024. 

The Asien-Afrika-Institut library is closed from 23 December 2023 to 1 January 2024. From 2–6 January 2024 the holiday opening hours from 10 am to 8 pm apply.

The German Sign Language Library is closed from 24 December 2023 until 1 January 2024.

The Cultural Studies library is closed from 23 December 2023 until 1 January 2024. Regular opening hours apply from 2 January 2024.

The Musikwissenschaftliches Institut Library is closed from 25 December 2023 until 5 January 2024.

The Institute of Geography library in the Geomatikum is closed from 23 December 2023 to 2 January 2024.

The Informatics Library in Stellingen is closed from 25 December 2023 until 1 January 2024.

The Mathematics and History of the Natural Sciences library in the Geomatikum is closed from 25 December 2023 until 5 January 2024. 

The Chemistry library at Martin-Luther-King-Platz is closed from 23 December 2023 until 1 January 2024. The library closes at 3 pm on 22 December 2023. The library is open as usual from 2 January 2023.

The Biology Library at Klein Flottbek and Grindel are closed from 21 December 2023 until 5 January 2024.

The Martha Muchow Library is closed from 31 December 2023 to 2 January 2024.

• CampusBlick Café is closed from 23 December 2023 until 7 January 2024.

• Café Carl is closed from 23 December 2023 until 1 January 2024. From 2–7 January 2024 the café is open from 9 am to 5 pm, normal opening hours apply from 8 January 2024.

• CampusCafé is closed from 23 December 2023 until 1 January 2024.

• The Studierendenhaus cafeteria is closed from 23 December 2023 until 1 January 2024.

• The Sclüters Pizzeria is closed from 22 December 2023 until 1 January 2024. From 2–7 January 2024 the café is open from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm, normal opening hours apply from 8 January 2024.

• The Geomatikum cafeteria is closed from 23 December 2023 until 7 January 2024.

Mittelweg

• Café Mittelweg is closed from 23 December 2023 until 1 January 2024. From 2–7 January 2024 the café is open from 8 am to 1:30 pm, normal opening hours apply from 8 January 2024.

• The Botanical Garden cafeteria is closed from 23 December 2023 until 7 January 2024.
• Café CFEL is closed from 23 December 2023 until 7 January 2024.
• The Stellingen cafeteria is closed from 23 December 2023 until 7 January 2024.
• Café Jungiusstraße is closed from 23 December 2023 until 7 January 2024.
