Discover the Future of Your Career in the DeepTech Sector: A Workshop Event of Innovation
The exciting world of DeepTech startups offers countless opportunities for aspiring individuals. If you are active in Hamburg or want to be, mark November 18th, 2024 (4-8 PM) in your calendar! The event DeepTech Connect – Careers, Capital & Cocktails focuses on the exchange of ideas, networking, and developing entrepreneurial perspectives.
About the Event
The event is aimed at a broad audience: early-career researchers, doctoral candidates, postdocs, students, founders, and investors interested in the topics of entrepreneurship and technology transfer. The first two hours of the program, from 4 PM to 6 PM, will feature parallel workshops where participants can delve deeply into the subject of entrepreneurial thinking.
PIER and the Knowledge Exchange Agency of the University of Hamburg, supported by Startup Port, invite you to participate in the workshop "An Entrepreneurial Perspective on Your Research with Design Thinking" alongside innovation expert Barbara Blenski. Here you will have the opportunity to explore individually what advantages entrepreneurial thinking can bring to your personal career planning. Additionally, you will work on your own questions and gain valuable insights.
The Networking Part
After the workshops, there will be a relaxed networking session where you can enjoy snacks and cocktails. This time is ideal for making valuable contacts, finding project partners or investors, and starting new collaborations. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded individuals and build promising connections!

The event will take place at the Start-up Labs Bahrenfeld, Luruper Hauptstraße 1, 22547 Hamburg. The event language is English, and participation is free of charge, but places are limited.
