Micro Credentials
Micro credentials are part of the EU-wide strategy for lifelong learning. They are defined as short, mostly digital courses that can be designed as individual courses or as a module of a larger certificate. Their aim is to impart personal, social or labor market-relevant skills (so-called future skills) in a clearly defined specialist and working environment.
The UHH TransferAgency supports the development of MicroDegrees in Germany as an academic location through networking with partner institutions, within the framework of the European University Alliances, in EU projects such as EUGLOH and through its own micro-offers on transfer skills via the Hamburg Open Online University.
