Contextual influences on dynamic belief updating in volatile environments: Basic mechanisms and clinical implications
The DFG Research Unit 5389 titled “Contextual influences on dynamic belief updating in volatile environments: Basic mechanisms and clinical implications” focusses on learning under conditions of change and uncertainty. It aims to identify relevant developmental and contextual influences on this type of learning and to better understand how it can fail and give rise to different types of psychopathology processes and how mental health can suffer when these processes fail or follow irregular patterns.
The first funding period covers 4 years (2024-2027) and is funded by DFG with 4.5 million Euro.
Twelve Principal Investigators will be conducting Research in nine subprojects.
