Diversity Days 2022 at Universität Hamburg

From June 13-17, Universität Hamburg is hosting the Diversity Days, featurung an extensive list of events, including our workshop "Dealing with Diversity: Strategies for Fruitful Collaboration" organized by the Language Center.

This bilingual event (English with German summary) will present strategies that help us deal constructively with diverse ways of thinking and behavior. With these strategies, we will not only be able to tolerate 'foreign' lifestyles and communication styles, but appreciate and even use them to build synergistic relationships. This is not about a single 'right' action or opinion, but about the joint construction of new ways of acting through open judgment-free negotiations. In this workshop, you will learn how this works.

This event will include a 45-minute interactive presentation as well as a 45-minute discussion/exercise with breakout rooms.
