What does \"fail\" mean on placement test results?

We have frequently been asked what the "fail" means in the list of placement test results.
Our courses start at levels B1/B2 (or A2/B1 for German). It is obligatory to show us through the placement test that you have the level required for the courses. If there is a "fail" next to your matriculation number, this means that you have not yet acquired the relevant language skills required for the course. This means, unfortunately, that you cannot take our courses.
