About Us

The Application Team and the Subject Group for Learning Management Systems in the Department of Studies & Teaching, Campus Management, provide centralized support in close collaboration with the decentralized eLearning offices in the faculties.

Hamburg Center for University Teaching and Learning (HUL)

The Hamburg Center for University Teaching and Learning (HUL) is a central institution comprising four areas: Research (higher education research), Teaching (Master's in Higher Education), Evaluation (to enhance the quality of studies and teaching), and Qualification. eLearning and digital teaching are topics integrated across all areas and within its various offerings. The HUL supports educators in designing digital, hybrid, and face-to-face teaching with interactive qualification programs (teaching impulses, workshop and certificate programs, tutoring program, faculty program), higher education didactic consulting, and self-study materials.
